The ClubBuzz sports forum is a place for anyone linked to an amateur sports club to get together to discuss hot topics and issues in grass roots sports.
I know I've already asked about having shortcodes throughout the website on a seperate topic but...
There particularly really should be a default option for the twitter feed to appear in the news section! And probably right at the top! I am absolutely shocked that it can’t be put there (please tell me if I am being stupid). What is twitter if it is not news?
Also, it certainly doesn't make sense to have RSS feeds for different organizations on the page while not being able to have your own twitter feed on there. It's the only place the twitter shortcode would really add serious value in my opinion - it's pretty bulky and slightly less relevant if you put it elsewhere (I say this despite putting it on pretty much every public page of our site to try to boost visibility and followers).
Basically, as I’ve probably already said...the new functionality is great, I just think it needs properly thinking through so that it is more focused and really adds value to websites - rather than just being a list of new features that sounds very exciting.
